In the passage "Hype", by Kalle Lasn talks about how our brains are  filled daily with so much toxic of the mental pollutants.  In other words the author is trying to say that we see many advertisement daily that it floods our brains. It floods our brains so rapidly at almost a rate of about three thousand logos or product messages per day. Kalle is trying to tell us that we cannot even have a piece of silence any more. I could agree with the author that there is many logos and messages posted everywhere we look and everything we look at.

I could relate with the author when she say that our brains is constantly being flooded as soon as our alarm goes off every morning. Everywhere we look we see something being advertised. I could relate to this, I wake up every morning at three o' clock to get ready for work.  I have one hour to get ready and walk out the house. In that one hour I use to just get ready I see a lot of things. As soon as my alarm goes off and my eyes are open that is when we start seeing logos and others advertisement going on. There is just a few things I see just in the little bit of time I use in the morning at my house. I soon as I wake up I hear the alarm go off and face the clock to look at the time.  I turn on the morning news and see many commercial advertisements going on. I see many news information being posted to alert us on what is going on around the world.  We see more when we are in the bathroom, logos that are tagged in our jeans and the items we are going to grab to prepare our breakfast. In just that one hour I use to just prepare myself I seen a lot more then what I think. That's why I do believe when the author say that our brains is constantly being flooded at the rate of about three thousand messages per day.

Another example I could connect with to this is when we drive across a country side that has a nice view and then all of a sudden is being disturbed by an enormous billboard. In addition, we walk down a block, we see a Verizon and T mobile department store. While walking across the Verizon store, we see an ad saying that they have the best phone service compared to other company. In the other hand, when we walk by the T mobile store, I noticed they are advertising an ad saying they have the best phone deals around.

Everything our eyes could look at, we are being advertised by something in every corner we see. It starts from early morning when we wake up, as soon as our alarm clock goes off, then it follow throughout the day when we go outside until late at night, when we go to bed.
